Dr. Sushmita Gupta

She has a smile on her face all the time. She is fond of children and is so affectionate toward them that she comforts them within no time. The one thing that differentiates Dr. Sushmita from the other doctors is that she discourages use of antibiotics unless such use becomes unavoidable. She is the most genuine and trust worthy pediatrician I have come across in Navi Mumbai.

I was advised Paediatric antibiotic for my child for simple viral fever - Cefixime 100 by a doctor along with a bunch of other medicines , after which I chose to take alternate views as I wasn't eager at all for my kid to consume antibiotic . So I went to Dr. Sushmita Gupta. The first thing she said " why Cefixime? " & I was so relieved. Here there was a doctor who knew the adverse effects of it & didn't take a child's heath for granted by prescribing easy medicines without a proper diagnosis. She said keep everything normal & use calpol. My kid was ok after just two dose of it ( 5ml + 5ml) ...dats it. Antibiotic medicines should be consumed only after proper diagnosis & confirmation of viral effects whether it's an adult or a kid & not for every health ailment. Her explaining each and every thing in detail helped new couples like us to understand child's health & do's & don'ts.... I am really really thankful to her.

The main plus point I see is, Doctor gives enough time to understand baby problem and than diagnosed according.

Extremely practical, logical and reliable doctor. She does excellent diagnosis and doesn't prescribe strong antibiotics to kids when not required. She is a very friendly and easily reachable doctor. We highly recommend her to all our friends and family.
